Disapoetry is a project designed to give voice to the disabled community and their carers by showcasing their original poems and celebrating their unique talent.
As the project expands, I hope it will be possible to publish an original poetry collection (potentially in collaboration with disabled illustrators) and award prizes to disabled poets/carers for their creative talent. Currently, all submissions and work towards this project must be done for free.

I aim to make this project as accessible as possible. Please send us feedback on how we can improve accessibility.

ABOUT ME
My name is Jacqueline Collier. I am an amateur poet and a disability advocate based in South Australia. I wanted to combine the two things I am most passionate about. This is why I created Disapoetry: a place for the disabled community and their carers to share their original poems.
